the beautiful and strong light-grained hardwood of choice for european woodworkers. beech is an excellent upgrade from maple and birch species. valendrawers’ beechwood is produced by the valen group from the mature forests of romania. the valen group controls quality at every step from the forest to the customer.

baltic birch plywood
excellent general purpose drawer material produced in the russo-scandinavian region of northern europe. baltic birch is strong, economical, attractive, and suitable for a wide variety of applications.

• 9-ply high density grade with cross-directional ply orientation, no internal voids
• 12 mm (nominal .47”) thickness, others by special order
• natural finish; other finish colors by special order
• top edge: matching melamine woodgrain edgebanding; other treatments (bullnose, etc) by special order
• components sorted to hide most surface imperfections from view by consumer
• voids patched, filled and sanded prior to finishing

vinyl wrapped particleboard
the valendrawers vinyl offering features 4 sided drawers made from individually doweled and joined component for maximum strength and ease of assembly. No possibility of rips or tears as associated with inferior folding type drawers.

standard: medium density fiberboard, 5 mm thick (nominal 3/16”) with matching melamine surface overlay
